Nassau Valley Farmers Market Now Open
Through the End of October!

We are so happy that it’s Market Season again!!!
The Farmers’ Market opened last weekend.

Come out every Sunday between now and the end of October and enjoy our wonderful array of Vendors. Due to the very cool Spring, there will be a couple of Vendors that won’t start till Memorial Day but all your mainstay favorites are here!

We’ve welcomed some new faces this year and happy to have them on board! Don’t forget, LIVE MUSIC and the SANGRIA BAR every week!

“Wine-d Down Wednesday” with the Whole Family!

6:30PM-9:30PM  (Bacchus Grove) Join us for a FREE evening of Theatre and Music

The Rehoboth Beach Summer Children’s Theatre presents “Jack In the Beanstalk”. The show starts at 6:30pm and runs for 40 minutes. At 7:30pm it’s time for “Grooves in the Grove”, local favorite singer/songwriter, Kerry Hallett.
 
Bring a lawn chair and have a great evening with us! Chef Lola from Caribbean Sasón will be on-site with her mouth watering, made-from-scratch empanadas, tacos and quesadillas. The Nassau Valley Sangria bar will be rockin’ with our famous Sangria, award-winning wines, local craft beers and non-alcoholic beverages. 
 
This event is FREE. No outside food or drinks. No pets. This event is Rain or Shine. In case of rain or extreme heat we will move into Grand Cru Hall.

True Blue Jazz “First Thursdays” at NVV

7:00PM-8:30PM (Grand Cru Hall)  $30 – The Tim Brey Quartet

 
Join us for an evening of stellar Real Jazz with Phildaelphia’s rising star pianist, Tim Brey. He is joined by two Philly Jazz icons; Mike Boone on bass and John Swana on EVI. Rounding out this magical quartet, 16-yr-old prodigy Mekhi Boone on drums! Doors open at 5:30PM for al-a-carte dinner and drinks service. Dinner by Mermaid’s Kitchen.

Two Great Events In One Day!

3:00PM-5:00PM – Mr. Hetfield’s Rock-n-Roll Camp Recital – (Grand Cru Hall)

Local elementary school music teacher, Walt Hetfield, has sent more young musicians out into the world than we can count. Every summer Mr. Hetfield hosts a Rock-n-Roll camp for local elementary and middle school kids. Join us as they strut their collective stuff and show off their future rock star riffs. Refreshment bar on site. This is not a food event. Please, no outside food or drinks, no pets.

5:00PM-7:00PM – August Art Show Opening (Gallery One) – Artists: Anne Cyr, Joan Fabbri and Nancy Mysak

The month of August annually brings Anne Cyr back into our gallery space and that means she will be bringing a couple of other dynamite artists with her. This year Anne is joined by Joan Fabbri and Nancy Mysak. All three of these ladies are many time award-winning artists with a great command of both watercolor and oils as their mediums. The Meet-the-Artists Reception is August 4th from 5:00-7:00pm. It is free to the public. Come view some beautiful art, enjoy some wine and refreshments and meet these three very talented ladies. All works are no sale. The show will run from Aug. 1st to Aug. 30th.

The Spartan Alumni Jazz Band

3:00PM-5:00PM  $10 (Bacchus Grove)

We’re going to be swinging hard to the swinging sounds of the St. Mark’s High School Spartan Alumni Jazz Band! This Big Band has a Big Sound! You must experience this band ‘live’ in order to truly appreciate some of the best contemporary and classic horn arrangements in the tri-state area. Founded and led by Joe Dawson and conducted by Larry Spencer this band has been an integral part of Delaware’s music scene for more than 29 years. 
 
Rain or Shine, in case of excessive heat or rain we will move into Grand Cru Hall. 3pm-5pm. Bring a lawn chair! FOOD VENDOR ON SITE and Nassau Valley Vineyards Bar will be available. You know that a band is really great when their music gets inside you…when you can’t stop singing their songs in your head…when a chord progression chosen to follow an insanely clever lyric makes you shudder….I Draw Slow is a band that does ALL of that. Coaxing the past into the present, the Dublin-based band have created a very personal sonic tapestry that has drawn fans on both sides of the pond and earned them slots on some of the most important festival stages across North America including MerleFest, Edmonton Folk Festival, Rocky Grass, Earl Scruggs Festival and Wintergrass.

Nassau Valley is delighted to host one of Delaware’s best events! The So Del Wine Fest has raised over $200,000 for charities across Delaware since it started 8 years ago. Do you want to taste great wines and beverages from across the world, sample delicious foods from southern Delaware’s best restaurants, listen to great music and watch southern Delaware’s best chef’s go head-to-head for the annual “Chef’s Throwdown”.
